Finally Snow!

We finally had a decent snow storm so that we could get outside and play. At first Catelynn didn't seam to happy about being "stuck" in the deep snow but after a while she got the hang of taking BIG steps to get around.

I just love this next picture. It makes me imagine how Catelynn must feel when she looks up and seeing her daddy's big smile.

Frosty the Snowman

I think it has been at least 20 years since I last built a snowman ( sad, isn't it?). This snow was just perfect for rolling and he was done in no time at all. What fun!! And don't you just love Ken's chipmunk cheaks in this hat!

So proud - I fed myself with a spoon!

I wish you all could have seen in person how Catelynn's face beamed with pride when she started to feed herself with a spoon. There were sunbeams coming out her ears! The picture just doesn't do it justice.

Not So Happy New Year

A couple of days before New Year's Eve Catelynn slipped on the floor at a friend's house and put her teeth through her lips and really moved her two top front teeth. Then on New Year's Eve she tripped and split her lip open again putting an end to any possible fesitivities. She is doing much better now but we are still waiting to see if she will be able to keep her two front teeth. We just have to wait and see what her body does. We are constantly amazed at how resilient kids are. I personally wasn't even able to bring myself to take a picture of her until her lips had started to show signs of improvement. Believe it or not, in these pictures she looks 10 times better than she looked the previous few days.

More Kisses

There seams to be a theme here with what Catelynn does with her gifts. Catelynn insisted that her two new baby dolls kiss too. It's actual very ironic becuase Catelynn herself really doesn't like to kiss or be kissed.

Christmas Morning

Catelynn didn't seem too interested in opening gifts until she crawled into her new tent and found her new Bear in the Big Blue House Playhouse! Thank goodness for Ebay!
