Well, there has been a lot of debate regarding how much these two look alike. You be the judge...

Colin - One Week Old

One week old already. He's starting to stay awake for more than just a few minutes between feedings. So far he seams to be more laid back like Ken.

Catelynn and Daddy Bake Cookies

We've been trying to make sure gets as much quality time as possible for just her. Although I wouldn't say she is jealous of Colin, she is showing signs of not being pleased about having to share our time.

She and Daddy had a lot of fun making elephant, horse and butterfly shaped cookies - topped with red crystal sugar of course.

Crazy Hair

Colin has the silkiest hair imaginable. However, it is so fine that when you wash it he gets a halo of soft spikes all around his head.

A Super Big Sister

We did not know what to expect when we brought Colin home to meet Catelynn. Cate has always been a very loving child but you never know when jealousy might show up. Thankfully Catelynn has shown all signs of loving her little brother. She has alreday tried to share her toys with him and can't give him enough hugs. If anything she is having a harder time understanding why she can't hug and hold him whenever she wants. Catelynn is going to be a great big sister :)

Baby Colin Andrew Born January 30, 2009

Baby Colin finally made his entry into the world at 7:39 a.m on Friday, January 30, 2009. His weight was 7 lbs 6 1/2 ounces and 18 1/2 inches in length. We were surprised to see that he looks completely different from his 4D ultrasounds and actually looks a lot like his big sister Catelynn.

Yes - my belly is HUGE!

If there was any question about whether my belly is bigger with this second pregnancy this photo should shatter any doubts. It looks like baby Colin is going to be a big boy. We are now officially at 38 weeks and Catelynn can't wait to get my lap back! The Dr. said it should be any day now based on how low he is - here's hoping he is right.

And not that it makes that much of a difference but there is a shadow behind me so keep that in mind as you gasp in horror :0
